900cc in—line 4
cylinder, transversely mounted, twin overhead cams, 16 valves, 95BHP
standard, modified with Yoshimura cams end exhaust system... 105—110BHP,
type 9 Honda faring, drop handlebars. Loved this machine, went all the way to Brindisi
and back, some of the way with Austen, actually saw 145mph once on
the way into Bristol.
Nearly ran over Emmerson Fittipaldi. in
Monaco while he was being interviewed by Jackie Stewart prior to the
Monaco Grand Prix! Brilliant bike. 0—60 3.4 seconds.
Used it to go
on one the best trips I've done - down to Brindisi in Italy with
mate Austen - to work (on the rigs). Once did Brindisi to St Tropez
in a day. Started raining at Rome but carried on - was physically
steaming when I got to the campsite as it was 80° there!
